T'was part of "DIE, SPY!" Tuesday with an opener of "Spin City", then "Da Vinci's Inquest" (politics and internal security falling under espionage), and then that. Wanted something in the background to keep me company while I put a shelf together, but something I didn't need to pay attention to. Think I got as far as Natalya arriving at the train station.
It's got some slow moments but it's otherwise interesting. The film shows two separate sides trying to battle the drug trade: locals in small Mexican towns taking up arms against the cartel, and some American "militiamen" in Arizona patrolling the border trying to keep the drugs out. The film shows there's plenty of corruption involved when it comes to tackling the drug trade. Though there were some racist comments from the militiamen that I found offensive. I think some people forget that the USA has never, at any point, been a white-only country.
