I just saw 'Fair Game' with Naomi Watts & Sean Penn, two exceptional performers, and it was very good.

Nicolas Cage in The Wickerman remake. It was "okay", but nothing I'd bother watching again. It was nothing like the British original which even though it was in black & white and a bit dated now was much more chilling.

Honey I shrunk the kids (1989). First time I had seen it in years. It seems dated, the clothes. No internet, lol. The effects. But still a really good, family disney comedy. I'd say (4 out of 5).

"Desperate Hours" remake starring Mickey Rourke and Anthony Hopkins. I still think the original with Humphrey Bogart was better. JMO

Two over the weekend

Taking of Pelham 123 which kept my attention for sure and It's Complicated....sort of funny and in some parts hilarious. I was leary of the Alec Baldwin part but he pulled it off.

The Expendables - Ugh. I wasn't even expecting much and it still s*cked. It's rare that I don't commit fully to watching a movie, but I found myself looking around for something to do or read (catalogs, the obits, tax documents, anything!!!) I just couldn't get into it.
