Saturday we watched World War Z..did not like it ..... and yesterday the delightful 2012 Hindi movie English Vinglish about a housewife who enrolls in an English-speaking course to stop her husband and 2 children mocking her lack of English speaking and gains self-respect in the process. A must see movie

Rewatched Mud (2012), directed by Jeff Nichols (Shotgun Stories, Take Shelter). When you watch a dvd after having seen a film at the theater, you really notice the impact changes. The scene...
Spoiler
where there is a body floating, what looks to be suspended below the surface after the house boat shootout, when Michael Shannon's character is trying out his headlight underwater breathing device, looks almost sureal on the silver screen. On the dvd, I almost missed it. I'm glad I caught the limited release showing - it was worth the drive.
With a dvd viewing, there is pause, and stop / rewind + subtitles when they talk to fast or with an accent you can't comprehend.

Warm Bodies, enjoyed it way more than I expected to.

The World's End, Such fun, started off great sort of fizzled a bit at the 3/4 point, but still pretty good. Frost and Peg, those wild and crazy guys

Forgot, Riddick, saw it Sat, Very much enjoyed that.
