The latest by Woody Allen "Midnight in Paris".

I went without knowing anything about the movie and I really enjoyed it.

Can't wait to see it, thanks. I love most of Woody's films (the early ones are a bit too silly for me now... e.g. Sleeper, Bananas). Manhattan Murder Mystery is one of my favs... it's still streaming on Netflix for anyone who'd like to see it. I've seen it 20 times yet still laugh outloud in parts... his claustrophobic attack in the elevator scene is hysterical & I became an Alan Alda fan after that movie... never really cared for him before, so it made me change my mind.

Did you also see Match Point? Loved it. I miss his humor when it's absent from a more serious film... but, do enjoy his serious subject matter, too.

The Hangover II (Why?), eeeewwwwwww. I mean it had a few funny moments, nicely filmed, but over all eww, eww.

The Taking of Pelham 123, started out pretty good went terribly awry. I knew there was a reason I kept putting off watching it.

The Libertine (2004) - IMDb, another brilliant career achievement for Johnny Depp.

Sliding Doors - If possible I love this move more and more each time I watch it.

wonderful concept for a movie and John Hannah in this was just a love - so different than The Mummy or Spartacus

We just saw, "Life as we know it". I liked it and I'd give it a solid 3 out of 5 stars. Then we saw "Country Strong". Wow, what a train wreck. I'm not sure I'd even give it a star at all.

Just saw the Curious Case of Benjamin Button. OVERRATED. I don't think it was bad, but it wasn't that good.

Here were my issues: Way too long and was super slow in some parts. Also the reverse aging thing was cool, but I don't feel like it was utilized. It was only really utilized in which it had an effect at the very begining and at the very end. I felt this was a typical love story with age reversal but it wasn't fully utilized. I think there could have been more potential.
