I have lusted to see this movie since trailers started but...
Spoiler
Cooper is excellent and his character is really sympathetic even in his worst moments
Lady Gaga can act and sing but script doesn't live up to her intrinsic talent in second half...
It is Cooper's movie really even though she has the spotlight at the end...unlike Garland's or Streisand's version

Will maybe go see it on Seniors' Monday ...

Spoiler
replay that scene where she's rapping with the song on the radio.
I watched The Hunt for Red October again last night. What a great flick. A great distraction from the political hysteria of recent weeks.
After that Sicario 2 - fell asleep because I was out all day hiking _ will backtrack to where I last was and watch the rest today. It's a very violent movie and I think I liked the first one better. We'll see
