I loved this movie. It shows how I would feel if someone took my child. I don't have the skills he did but everyone between me and my daughter would die if I did.

Liam was amazing.

It reminded me of other cases where young people have traveled abroad alone and either ended up dead or got into trouble because they were out of their element.

Has anyone else seen this movie?

I didn't like the ending. Too campy.

This is a good movie. Very well done but a predictable plot.

The scary thing about this movie is that such sale of women actually does occur in Europe

An old movie too. A French movie actually. It has been released in the states a little too late.

Agreed they could've cut it 5-10 minutes earlier (anyone who's seen it should know where I mean) and it would've been much better but it was foreshadowed in the beginning so we have to do the feel good over the top lovey reunion ending, heh.

Also, I so wanted to see his buddies get called up for backup and totally rock out but he did well enough on his own. Wasn't so much of a they needed to show but more of a it would've been cool if they had shown.

Overall though if you take it for what it is (over the top, rage/vigilante justice action flick) it is a heck of a fun ride and is quite emotional in parts. Specially if you have a child. With a mid-teen daughter I could empathize and was rooting for him the whole way.

The thing I thought so sad about the ending was that even after the Father had done all he had to bring his daughter home, he was still on the outside of her life, she goes off with her MOther and StepFather.

I enjoyed this movie too, although the daughter's character annoyed the heck out of me. But Liam Neeson was very good, as usual.

Exactly my reaction -- it was like the ending was tacked on because somebody thought the movie would be too dark if it ended immediately after the daughter was rescued.
