I have Comcast and have recently begun to pay for movies On Demand maybe once or twice a week. The other day I took a look at the FREE movies On Demand and watched New World Order (a documentary) and last night watched Pulse. Now, I doubt if I would have ever paid for those two movies I never heard of but I like the idea that I don't have to conform to some schedule, plus I don't have to go to the videostore or do some mail in thing, plus I don't have to pay extra for them. But more than that. I like being able to try different movies, I might not ordinarily watch.

My question:

Do you watch free movies on demand that you would ordinarily not pay for? In other words, do you sample more unheard of movies, because they are free and on demand? Examples?

Oh hell yeah. Love me some OnDemand. There's all sorts of stuff available - not just free movies. Yes, we watch free movies, and I also watch Real Time, Flight of the Conchords, Curb Your Enthusiasm and other shows from time to time. There are some good exercise programs too if you're a video exercise kind of person.

Yes. I watch the movies from Fearnet. They're mostly recent low budget or old 80s horror movies (if you're into that sort of thing). The info screen on those movies are hilarious. Some are really bad, and some are surprisingly well done. At worst, it can sometimes be like watching Mystery Science Theater.

Comcast on demand for free for us at least has worse then one star movies. I loved Netflix when I had it running, plus on the TV, and Hulu for some TV.

I was enjoying reliving the cheesy horror films from my youth on Fearnet on Demand and they got dropped by my cable company which bums me out.

Yeah. Turner Classic Movies usually has some great classic on there that I probably wouldn't go out of my way to rent or watch. So I On-Demand it.

I watched You, Me and Dupree last night. It's always on but I've never actually seen it all the way through because of the commercials. My newest addiction though is the airokee - lol I have brighthouse and they have a channel that works like a karokee machine. I've been driving my family crazy all weekend.
