Interested in other peoples responses on which movies or documentaries they enjoy watching
many times. Some of mine (an odd assortment) are;
Midnight in Paris. About Schmidt. NL Christmas Vacation. Christmas Story. Psycho. Awakenings.
Philadelphia. One Flew Over the Cuckoos's Nest. Rear Window. Shine. Splendor In the Grass.
The Thing (1982 & 2010). The Odd Couple. Long, Long Trailer. Casino. The Help. War of the
Worlds (both), The Urban Elephant, Play Misty For Me and Fatal Attraction.

there are a couple of movies i can rewatch over and over. the first go to is notting hill (1999). anyone can meet a beautiful actress in a book store and fall in love and get married, right?

the next is what i'm rewatching right now as a matter of fact; as good as it gets (1997). it's just about the perfect movie; great story, lol funny, tear jerker. well, tear jerker is a misnomer. i don't cry, but this movie does move you. several scenes just get to me; when melvin says, everyone's going to die, i will, you will, and from the sound of it your son will, and carol tells him off in the restaurant, the two compliments; you make me want to be a better man, and - i think most people miss that about you, and i watch them, wondering how they can watch you bring their food and clear their tables and never get that they just met the greatest woman alive. and the fact that i get it makes me feel good..., about me. the interactions between greg kinnear and nicholson are hilarious. cuba and nicholson, hilarious - when he gets him to drive simon in his convertable. helen hunt is outstanding; jack nicholson's best performance imho. i could go on and on.

I could watch "Rear Window" every weekend. That, "Summer Rental" & "The Great Outdoors".

I have watched "The Hunt for Red October" dozens of times and it still seems fresh to me after a few months' layoff.

It seems like dramas appeal to me the most for repeated watching. Like: "Fried Green Tomatoes", "Thelma and Louise", "To Build A House", "Dances With Wolves", and "The Green Mile".

I just saw "Rear Window" for the first time in its entirety a few weeks ago. Super film!

Too many to name but among my favorites:

Star Trek 1-6
The real Star Wars Trilogy
The first 3 Indiana Jones movies (Crystal Skull was not good)
All Fast & Furious flicks but Tokyo Drift

The list goes on
