All good choices, above, but I am a bit surprised that no one has yet mentioned Anthony Hopkins. . . so excellent in so many roles, my particular favorite as C.S. Lewis in Shadowlands. . . .

This is the scene where Willy Stark, thinly disguised Governor of Louisiana Huey Long story comes into his own,
when he realizes that he has been a dupe, "a hick", for big money.
I'm a big fan of Sean Penn, but he didn't pull off the remake, in my opinion.
"All the King's Men" by Robert Penn Warren was a novel, but transparently based on the life of Huey Long. The movies use the novel's character' s names (Willie Stark) but are intended to fit the Huey Long persona.
