Actually I watched an old black and white movie on TMC last night called 'Three Came Home' with Claudine Colbert (sp?). I cried like a baby and felt like an idiot.

My only saving grace was that it was based on a true story.

The last one I rented was The Day the Earth Stood Still, with Keanu Reeves. Eh...it was ok.. but we watch movies on tv all the time, and right now I am listening to The Mummy with Brendan Frazier.

In the theatre, the most recent Harry Potter. At home, The Haunting in Connecticut, which sucked.

Saw "Funny People" tonight. It was darker than I expected, but it was a nice surprise. Very funny, yet a good story. Just be prepared for a long movie. I think the running time was around 2 hours and 20 minutes.

I saw Autopsy (free movies On Demand) and Glory (Encore) on the same day. Those are my last two. The last one I paid for was Knowing (On Demand).

Last movie watched was Forced Vengeance starring Chuck Norris. Yesterday I did a double feature of 80's martial arts films. Last movie watched in theaters was Terminator Salvation.

From Netflix: Taking Chance

I thought it was a very well-done movie, and it really gave me pause that there are so many people taking the time to show their respect in different ways.

Whether you agree with the politics or not, respecting the sacrifice should be a given.

"Harry Potter" which was surprisingly gripping I felt especially as I had been disappointed by previous offerings . I felt it was a bit more grown up and concentrated a bit more on various relationships rather than simply blasting you with special effects. Daniel Radcliffe can still not act though sadly.
