My favorite would be Top Gun

He looked dynamite on the motorcycle!

oh no. Magnolia is a perfect example of how amazing an actor Tom Cruise really is. Such an interesting role, considering the types of roles he usually plays.

1. Magnolia
2. Rainman
3. Top Gun

As far as doing some SERIOUS ACTING, I'd have to say;

"A Few Good Men"

"Magnolia" and

"Tropic Thunder"

He ACTED in these, the rest he seemed to just be Tom Cruise.

The only one I thought he was excellent in was "Rain Man" but otherwise I think he is a hugely over-rated actor. I will actually avoid seeing any movie he is in .

I remember first seeing him in RISKY BUSINESS and ALL THE RIGHT MOVES. At that time he was the hottest thing to the girls my age and I thought he was such a Hollywood prettyboy. I didn't care for him too much. But later some of his films did impress me so the ones that are my favorites are:

Rain Man
Collateral
A Few Good Men
