I'm looking for an old movie (>30 years old) n which there's a scene where an artist splatters paint on a sheet of plywood - then cuts it in to smaller pieces just in time for a buyer to fly in to his isolatrd location, select a picture, pay top dollar, and leave with the one he bought, after which the painter trashes the rest.
It's not the ooint of the movie, but a fun scene. I've told people about it for years because it is an 'artist' thumbing his nose at modern art collecotors.
I'd love to recall the movie's name, and to see it again! Do you know what the movie is,
