We saw it and HATED it, but we are seniors, and in our opinion, it did not even come close to the original, except for the final scene.

However, that being said, we were seated next to a little boy (about seven years old), and he was continually laughing and having a great time throughout the entire movie.

Watched Mary Poppins Returns last night. A truly forgettable film. I can still remember the songs from the first Mary Poppins movie and I haven't seen that one in 30 years, this one, I've already forgotten the songs.


Seemed very dark in the storytelling, zero characters I was cheering for, and I expected the BROADWAY STAR guy when he first saw Mary Poppins to say "oh look it's Emily Blunt".


The penguins were the best part.
