Correct. We just discussed this in the other thread.
Are you 70? (Kidding!) In my time, Hustler was the place to go. But I never looked at it as a fork in the road or anything like that.
I resemble that remark. I'm 65, but don't look a day over 64. Hustler was just starting out during my college days, we bought it for the Letters to the Editor.
Quite the opposite for me, it's the first Infinity War trailer I actually enjoyed.
Me too, I'm looking forward to seeing it even more, comes out on my birthday, but, I'll wait for a week or two for the crowds to tone down before I head off to the theater.

I hope it will be good. I liked the Russos previous movies quite a lot. But this? At least in the trailers it looks like good guys punch bad guys, who blow things up and crash things, interspersed with bits of snarky dialogue. Where is the heart?

I always hit the Sunday Morning viewing in the XD theater that allows you to reserve seats. Top row, on the aisle, very few jerks at that time of day.

I agree. This trailer has piqued my interest more than the others had. It's the first, for instance, that actually mentions who Thanos is and what his intentions are.

Agree. I was not super-hyped after the first official trailer (I thought the Black Panther official trailer was more exciting). This second trailer looked a lot more exciting, and has me more hyped.
All of us are going to see the movie anyway, lol, but the trailer sets the stage for the level of anticipation and hype. I'm more hyped after seeing this one.
The caveat to having a more vanilla/basic trailer, is that it saves more of the surprises for the actual movie. Back in the day, the trailer just showed snippets of the movie and didn't give away a lot of the plot or action scenes. So, I'm fine with a more traditional trailer where not a lot is given away, and Marvel saving the really good parts/plots for the actual movie.

I will likely go on a Tuesday afternoon, you get to pick from a chart where you'd like to sit, and all the seats recline, it's a nice theater. The good thing about going on Tuesdays, here, the whole day, all showings all day of all movies are discounted; not that I mind paying on a Sat full price, but lighter crowd plus discount can't beat it.
"Let's talk about this plan of yours: I think it's good, except...it sucks. So let me do the plan, and that way, it might be really good."
"Wow."
And why does Peter look like he's about to burst into laughter?
This is why I'm not a fan of improv in extinction-event films.
