I'm a child of the '80s. How could I not see this? I'm pretty sure I'm required by Federal Law.
I’m an 80’s kid too, and I recently re-watched all of them (KK 1-3) and think they are still great (although I surprisingly really liked the Jaden Smith/Jackie Chan remake).
A few things caught my attention. The only thing that annoyed me a little, watching them with fresh eyes in succession, was how Daniel beat someone as good as the main villain in KK2 in a no-holds-barred match; but then went back to being really weak in KK3 (the main villain in kk3 was nowhere near the level of the villain in kk2).
Also my mind was blown to find out that Ralph Macchio is the SAME age as Thomas Ian Griffin (played the villain sensi) in KK3. Thomas Ian Griffin looked like a fulll grown 40 year old man and Ralph Macchio looked like a freshman in high school. I also forgot how great of a villain Griffin was lol. Ralph Macchio still could pass for a 30 year old even though he’s in his mid/late 50s.

Tell me about it. Even my cosmic-level suspension of disbelief didn't wave that one through. Chozen should have left Daniel twisted like a pretzel; only Miyagi's healing potion would have rendered his student capable of walking on his two feet again, with assistance from a section of bamboo.
