I thought Johnny thought LaRusso was alright. It's great seeing them again but it's hard to buy the two characters suddenly resurrecting their feud decades later that seemingly ended on the tournament floor.

I guess cobra Kai never dies after all.

I don’t have YouTube red and don’t really want to pay for it, but if I can get 30 days free, I’ll watch it. I see it’s being produced by Will Smith’s production company, the same company that did the 2010 remake with Jaden and Chan. I wouldn’t be surprised if Jaden makes an appearance as well. That’d make a funny scene if Jaden and Chan bumped into the original two guys on the street or somewhere. Too bad the actor who played Mr Miyagi is dead, he was my favorite character.

When I saw the original Karate Kid back in the 80s, I was rooting for Johnny and his team!

Me, too. Especially because of the part where he says "You're all right, LaRusso!"

The movie will explain.

What's funny: William Zabka was famous in the '80s for playing villainous nicknames-for-Richards. But by all accounts he's actually a really nice guy. He and Keanu Reeves are the only two Hollywood stars of which I've never heard a bad word.

It appears to be a TV series rather than a movie.
