Anyone remember her from Jack Reacher? Rosamund...
That was the first time I saw her.
When she was, can't spoil anything, ah....different....did you notice the puffiness
in her cheeks so later she looked more chiseled?
Definitely packed lower cheeks...good job.

You all know that the skinniness of Neal Patrick whatshisname ...her rich, old boyfriend she... oh, sorry...spoiler...
is because he is on Broadway and just can NOT eat enough
for the calories he burns dancing all over...
it is exhausting just watching a clip!! The "How I Met Your Mother' guy...

OMG!I had to look up who the heck was the female detective...well, no wonder
I was scratching my head....she was a bigtime saloon girl in Deadwood!

Either way what did make this different, was that, it seemed like a dramedy and I couldn't stop laughing; the movie really didn't seem to be as long as 2+ hours.

She was wonderful as the older sister in "Pride and Prejudice" (w/ Keira Knightly). She played a Bond girl several years ago but I never saw that film. She's fairly far along in her second pregnancy, so that may account for any change in looks.

I must have missed anything funny in the book, which I thought was horrifying.

I didn't read the book, but the acting was quite comical in my opinion and I certainly wasn't alone in this opinion by the sound emanating from other audience members. There wasn't much original about it as far as I was concern, these types of crazies play out on tv weekly, it's the real life ones that I find terrifying, not this hyped up sillyfied movie version.

I'm sticking with if it were meant to be comical, it really killed. In the way the Sweeney Todd and Little shop of Horrors entertained audiences just not with the same types of costumes.

To be honest though, I didn't think the book was meant to be humorous, but the movie surely did come off that way to me.

I thought the movie was good, but dragged. They really should have cut it down to two hours.

I'm going to have to part with the herd.

I never read the book and the ending absolutely ruined the whole movie. I hated it.

I won't say anymore lest someone who hasn't seen it read this thread.

Poor choice on my part. I should have gone with my first impression and went to see The Judge.
