There's a movement among certain teens to go and see the SpongeBob movie on the opening day of Fifty Shades of Grey. They are hoping they will outnumber the viewers and that Fifty Shades will lose to a sponge. Doubt it will happen but am entertained by the thought. My daughter is participating as a self-proclaimed feminist who feels 50 Shades is detrimental to women. Gotta love a teen with ideals!
I skimmed this article but was laughing at the end. Love the guy jumping out the window at the end. Probably what most will feel like at the end of watching the movie and want to get their money back.

OH MY. LOL thanks, I skimmed as well, but, I really enjoyed that, so funny.

She reviews all 3 books. Her last review says she has never read any books that made her want to quit reading books until she read these. She felt she had to read all 3 for the series but the last one was torture to get through and review. She is a funny writer though so I am glad she did. LOL
The movie will probably be easier to get through since they show a lot of beautiful scenery, etc. It's the content that is lousy when you stop to think how many women romanticize abuse as though it was love.
Ok guys... Maybe you all can start another thread to bash a book a majority of you have never read but it would be nice for those who want to see the movie to be able to post on this thread without being ridiculed.
And for the record there is a lot more to this story than the sex stuff. One thing I do like is that she doesn't give in to all his demands and is pretty strong about it. The story is that he is a broken person and how she changes him for the better not the other way around.

That's the problem, he's broken, she fixes him, not a good message to some young woman. I could care less about the kinky sex. I've seen red rooms, not big deal.
And if you don't like hearing about the pluses and minus of a film being discussed, you are in the wrong place. This is a forum for points of views good or bad, not only for worshippers.
