I saw it last week and thought it was great as well. It focused on telling the story rather than trying to crack jokes every few lines. I'd say it was like a mature version the Hangover. I hope they think it did well enough to warrant a sequel, apparently the whole cast is willing to do it.
Liked it. While it was billed as a comedy, there were some serious parts that addressed a few of the issues that older men may face. A few things in the film that were not quite right in presenting the Las Vegas scene though. For one thing, Archie's big blackjack win would not have have gotten the four of them those accomodations and Vip treatment. By LV standards it just was not quite large enough to merit such treatment. Really liked Mary Steenburgen as the sweet lounge singer that totally outclassed any and all of the much younger eye candy that populated the film.
