I'm about 3/4 of the way through the Abraham Lincoln vampire movie and it's a blast! The director has such a great eye for staging and visuals. The "vampire" aspect is almost negligible (they walk around in the sun, etc. ) and is nearly ignored. It might as well be "Abraham Lincoln: Strong Mean Person Hunter". I also love how it's actually a biography of Lincoln as well.
I wish all of my history lessons had been turned into zombie/vampire movies - I would definitely have retained a lot more of the information
Vampire movies are never scary to me but for sheer creepies, I would have to go with either one of these:
- Salem's Lot
- 30 Days of Night
I remember back in the early 1980s....My brother and I decided to watch Salem's Lot when I was about 5 or 6 years old. He was a year younger than me. LOL....Scared the living crap out of us.
When my father remarried, to keep the tradition alive, my brother and I made our new step brother and step sister watch Evil Dead. They were about 5-6 yrs old at that time. Anyway, my step brother and step sister were never the same again.
Twilight was stupid...just plain stupid. Vampires DO NOT sparkle .
The original Fright Night gave me the creeps though.
