The movie looks so bad.... I have to see it, lol. I'm sure the acting is horrid, but it looks too silly to take seriously. Altough the lead actors in the film aren't so bad, they would be the only plus of the film.

I know a lot of women who are going to go see it today and it's all they talk about and these are grown women. I know they think it's fun and all but it's not my cup of tea. The women keep writing about this on facebook and you would think they have never seen a naked man. They think they are being cute constantly posting about it but they are actually being quite annoying. It looks like Show Girls for women.
I was thinking the same thing...why all the fuss about this movie (and boy, has there been some serious fuss amongst educated, grown women!).
Then I realized...you know, every day you can look around and you will encounter beautiful women everywhere you go. Great bodies, put together well, hot, hot women. Dressed up, dressed down, etc. Just good looking, well-built women.
The same is NOT true of men. In fact, it is not usual or likely outside the gym to see a really hot, fit, handsome man...I mean, it happens, but just not with the insane frequency of the hot women. Especially married men...
So, yeah...I TOTALLY understand why a bunch of married women want to go see this movie. I have met their husbands.
We have a group going tomorrow...need some advice...what are some raunchy party foods/apps I can make?
I am making Woo Woo martinis, I have penis molds for ice cubes and jello shots...what else, ladies? It's going to be a quick drink and then off to the show tomorrow night. Thought it would be fun, because the group going is the most UNLIKELY group of women you'd expect to go to a movie like this (serious, hyper-educated, rich 30/40+ year-olds)...so I thought I'd ham up the evening a little bit. Just to be silly and have fun.
Save your money. Had a great time with the gals pre and post movie. Will say Tatum has the moves, that man sure can dance. But mostly you get a tease, like 10 seconds of dancing sequences and lots of not so interesting dialogue.

Yes. Several reviews call it a sensitive, intelligent, well-crafted movie...instead of just a total porno peep show. I can see why some people might be disappointed.
