[quote=Yzette;23172754]Chick flicks are fantasies, and as long as you're going for fantasies, skip the movies and go right for The Tudors or True Blood.

Yes because True Blood is real.

It was nice.

It was kind of sad but it left you for hope for the guy.

There is a very recent RomCom thread (romantic comedy). Maybe not quite the same karma but they are still chick flicks by some definitions.
I'm a chick and hated the Notebook, Madison county bridges (or whatever the title is) and Pretty Women.

These are some of the more recent romantic comedies that I thought would be stupid, but that I actually liked:

27 Dresses
Notting Hill
Carolina
While You Were Sleeping
Legally Blonde
The Truth About Cats and Dogs
You've Got Mail
Desperately Seeking Susan

I dont know how many times ive seen guys at the store complaining to their gf that they didnt wanna watch a stupid chick flick. I sometimes take them off to the side and tell them their chances of getting a lil action increases if they watch the movie with her.

As for my choices id say: Practical Magic, Legally Blonde, Fried Green Tomatoes, My Life, Princess Bride, Meet Joe Black, Robin Hood (K Costner), Braveheart, and, I guess, Gladiator.
