What a dumb thread-starter.

Hey, did you ever notice that they never update the music in the movies? I mean, like, movies filmed in the 1940's have really old-sounding music. Movies from the 60's have sixties-sounding music. Even movies from the 80's and 90's sound dated now. Why don't the producers update the music every year to make the movies sound like what we listen to today?

Or they could go back and give the characters cell phones.

Ha ha. I'm talking about how the movies are listed, not the content of the actual movies. I'm saying they could update the packaging.

we all get what you are saying and we all think it is a bad idea. ETA - wait a minute... You said "credits". To me that means the scrolling words at the end of the movie, not the packaging. I don't think you ever mentioned the outer packaging of a DVD.

i bet if you owned the movie his name would appear on the back of the cover, but its up to the cable or satilite providers to be in the know of whos who, and whos not.

i dont think the studios care one way or another about how is a star today tomorow or yesterday, they already made their money.

Well considering Commando was a 1985 movie and Big Love's first season was 2006...........do the words "that was then, this is now" ring any bells?

Exactly - I think most movie buffs think of the "credits" as those embedded in the movie itself, not the *&^% packaging............but even so, I still say no they should stay as they are.

You only get "star billing" at the movie release date.........

Why don't they redo the Star Wars movies in 3-D?

Why don't they re-do Logan's Run with better looking cars than those stupid dune buggies?

While we're at it, how about putting some socks on Crockett and Tubbs?

Any movie with a cell phone the size of a brick or with characters sporting parachute pants/mullets/exaggerated shoulder pads should just be BURNED.

(j/k)
