Have you decided on what style of boat you're gonna get? If fishing is still a consideration, but center consoles aren't for you... then it's pilot house, cuddy or express. The Pilot house would be the best for fishing. I don't like many cuddy's.

Once you get into express boats... andthing less than 32' is really a waste of boat, feels jammed in. 35' and up and closer to 38' would be my choice.
I like 30'-32', crossover, hybrid, express styles, with an air-conditioned helm & cabin due to living in FLA year round. I also wanting to try cruising up and down the SW FLA coast, and over to the Bahamas staying at transient marina slips.

My favorite brands are #1 Pursuit, & #2 Boston Whaler, & #3 Sea Ray due to: quality, & resale, dealer slip availability & proximity.

I like Tiara, & 2021 Regal 36 xo, but both are out of my price range for 2018-2021 models I'm targeting.

If I go 100% express, and dump fishability, the Sea Rey 32' Sundancer dual outboard.

I want to keep it <$400k, & with current price bubble, that'sa struggle for the boats I'm targeting.

I've back-burnered it until the market changes, and slips open up..which could be never here in SW FLA.

Sea Ray boats are popular on fresh water lakes... made in TN and FL. Look at Colbolt boats is you forget about the fishing thing.

Have you considered Parker enclosed cabins or similar pilot house? They're not luxurious at all, but good boats. https://itboat.com/en/models/3265-3420-xld-sport-cabin

Cobalt used to made a really cool "day" boat, the 343. Nice open layout cockpit, decent enough cabin. And with Merc 496's , would run high 60's.
