The WVU Business and Economics program has recently been ranked number 9 in the country for return on investment in terms of earning power of graduates. It is the latest ranking attained by the school.

They are showing some class by not comparing themselves to other schools specifically. You can just bet, however, if the situation were reversed, at least one of our state's institutions would be rubbing our noses in it.

Absolutely wonderful. To go from the Machin daughter fiasco to this in a few years is great. I live in the DC area, and WVU is one of the best represented schools here in terms of employment. I'd say it goes (not counting privates like Georgetown): GMU>VT>UMD>PSU>UNC>WVU>UVA. Of course, this is all anecdotal evidence based on the engineering fields.

And, as I'm sure you know, the Engineering School is highly regarded as well.

Of course, it always has been given the geological nature of the area. Hopefully the mineral sciences school will become the top school for the shale industry.

The prestigious Bloomberg "Business Week" media group ranks the WVU College of Business and Economics #90 in the country out of hundreds of schools of business.
