On personal news: Sealed a deal with a Miami based clean tech company, they will be expanding here come next year. I think they want to aim for Q3 2024, once the market calms down.
With Art week underway, lots of rich foreigners are in Miami, so considering this is my last stretch working, will try to get something rolling. Lots of MTLers here too, QC gov't folks as well, who will accompany me to dinners and cocktails.

Quebec is officially in a recession. With that + every regressive policy implemented by the Legault government, 2024 will be a tough year for Quebec. I won't be surprised if it's the most negatively impacted Jurisdiction in 2024.
Well, it's over now, officially retired, what a relief!
This year has been a tough year, with all the global events happening, Quebec becoming even more draconian and shooting itself in the food, a recession upcoming. However, lots of wins from my team.... To respect clients, I will keep names confidential.
- 4 HQ's from the Miami area moving to Montreal, all tech based. Most moves will start Q2, 2024, some will be hybrid.
- a handful of expansions from the U.S and overseas settling in, some already expanded here, some will start next year.
- I have handshake agreements in place for further expansions to Montreal in tech, finance, bio-tech, green tech. However, my now former team will have to seal the deal.
In all, about 10 projects overall, I am not associated with other orgs like MTL-INT, IQ, etc.. So I'm curious to see those numbers next year.
What's next after Miami? we're thinking of settling in Europe and just enjoying life, just the misses and I. I think it's time to truly spoil myself lol
