IMO if a culture or just a language in this case is so week and feeble that it needs laws like bill101 to maintain its existence and its people being so morally bankrupt as to not see the injustices being perpetrated on its minorities with the bill101 laws i'd say this language is so vacuous and artificially maintained as to not really be worthy of these legislative protections in the first place .
So I guess that you are vehemently opposed to CanCon regulations that supposedly protect 'Canadian Culture' even though they have apparently failed and we still watch 95% American TV, movies etc?
Oh dear! We wouldn't want to in any way to slow down the inexorable march of American retailers now would we? This is Canada, after all. Pathetic loser of a country that can be bought out by anybody at the right price.
French and the insistence of maintaining a culture is not something I can respect or empower. It is backwards to stand tall and cry out for the last 100 years - "I am French" The world has changed - there is no one that deserves special treatment and privilege in Canada...We are either one nation or we are not a real nation.

I dont really care about Canadian content rules from the CRTC as i dont view my Canadian culture as needing silly legislation to prop it up,it either lives or dies on its own merits.
I don't know why Canada should have an official language. The United States does not.
English is for all intends and purposes the official language of the United States. It does not matter that there is no law that specifically says that it is.
