Hi,
Is it possible to get a working visa for Montreal?
I'm an Indonesian citizen but lived in sydney for a while and had a few degrees, only diploma and cert 3 tho, but I'm not a permanent residence in sydney, would it be too hard to get a job in canada without a bachelor degree?
I would love to try living in a different country with new exciting things to try
Please let me know
Quebec's sales taxes are relatively higher than other provinces. Food that requires processing, however, has no tax. E.g. if you buy a piece of meat, and egg, there are no tax, if you buy ready-to-eat meals or snacks, sales taxes are applied. Bus passes are tax deductible. If you work with a company with benefits (medical, dental), disability and life insurance (most do), income taxes and unemployment contribution (E.I.), it's about 30% of your gross annual salary, more or less. Also depends if your workplace/profession has union, and whether you take RRSP...etc. Yeah, it's kinda complicated.
