Bits of the satellite are reported to have fallen over Okotoks south of Calgary. Not too far from MT!

I forgot all about that. hahaha I was tired last night so went to bed early, about 10:30 or so. But, typical, was up and making coffee at 4.

I'm missing over a dollar. It's missing and I can't look for it until Wednesday. I'll explain. Yesterday, I wanted to do some painting on some wood pieces I'm going to use to trim out an end gable. So, I put on some old ratty shorts. About mid morning I heard, tink. I looked down and there was a penny on the floor. Thought wow, must have a hole in the pocket. I reached in and yup, big hole. Now I'm missing over a dollar in change, and I'm missing 4 car wash tokens. I never left the house. Coins are not on the floor. So, I lay down on my belly, put my leg with cast in the air and bang on it. I got my 4 car wash tokens back. But the change is still in there.

Rez, pick yourself up. It's undignified laying on the floor laughing.

I have neuropathy and have no feeling in my legs from the knees down. So I'm not sure if they're in there or not. haha The gals at the VA are going to get a kick out of this one on Wednesday. I'll never live it down.

Coffee's on. Bear sign would be nice, but not mandatory. Grits, western omelette (cheese, ham pieces, onion, salsa), hashbrowns and some cantelope are on the counter and ready to go.

By the way, here's the latest on the space junk. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/44632366...science-space/

Damn, I wonder what else is in Elk's new white boot -- could be a whole party goin' on in there for all we know!!

Gonna get all undignified again, which way is the floor??

[You might wanna get it checked, maybe an xray would do, before Weds. in case one o' them coins settled at an angle and is cutting off circulation. Could be serious damage by a week later.]

Well, the social scene here is interesting. There is a square dancing meeting next week over at the school. Should I force myself to socialize or just stay home as usual? Square dancing. Interesting.

I would rather have teeth pulled. Without anesthesia.

Having teeth pulled? It was a blast? Okay. But I think I will have meds.

Oh, did you mean square dancing? Ugh. Sounds too complicated. I have Dyslexia, and never figured out left and right, or North and South.

They should have some sort of singles shooting meet up, or maybe a gunsmithing party, I would definitely go to that.

Maybe a good poker match. Say 25yd, .22 wheel guns? Then a large bore 50 yd off hand match. I'm ready. Matter of fact, I run off 50 rnds this afternoon in between moving dirt.

Tell me this isn't, at a minimum, an ass kicking needed.

My son keeps his horese at a ranch South of town. He's out there most all the time helping out around the place. They, had a "Friend" come down from North Dakota to do some bow hunting up in our mountains. The Friend borrowed 3 horses, one of them being a $2000 T walker.

The "Freind" called yesterday after lunch and said, "I need to tell you, I'm back in North Dakota. A couple days ago, something come into camp and spooked teh horses. All three broke their picket pins. Didn't pull them, but snapped the iron rings. Wasn't sure what to do, no clue which direction they went, so I come home and am in North Dakota now."

He panicked and went home. Didn't call anybody and tell them until 3 days later.

So yesterday my son (part of search and rescue for here) called and had maps printed quickly while he got 2 horses rounded up at the ranch and loaded. One ride, one pack. Picked up the maps and headed up on the mountain. The guy, not being from here, was not sure exactly where he was at up on the mountain, so my son didn't have a lot to go on.

However, got a call from him late last night. He's found the tracks, knows generally where the horses are going and then it got dark. So he set up camp and about now, should be drinking coffee around a fire. He's supposed to call here in a bit. He'll brake track and get to an area he can get a cell signal and he'll check in and let us know his intentions and also the next time we can expect him to check in.

My son is 6'3", 26 year old with 2 tours in Iraq under his belt. Me thinks he's going to head up to North Dakota when he's done getting the horses off the mountain. Might just have to go with him to watch this one.
