Rattler like that would make a nice pet for you Elk, and if you get bored with it, they are pretty good eating, I just use LOTS of tobasco because it adds a little bite.

Oh goody! I can see it now, "Here Snakey, Snakey. Come to dinner."

Adds a little bite. Har, har, har.

Growing up in the south I know all about them. Hubs still gets a kick out of the idea that I can not stand with my feet too close to a bush or I will not pick up lumber, logs with my hands if they are on the ground...
Be careful EH.

I'm screwed. Got a phone call, not a dm, from NOAA. I'm screwed. They said that my river (yes, I want it, it belongs to nobody that it doesn't flood.) Is going to kick my butt. I am so sick of this crap. Bring it on. We'll see who kicks who's butt.

Ok, my tongue is in my cheek, please don't. hahahhahahaha

Hahaha, that sounds like here... first thing I tell visitors is always "Watch for rattlesnakes!" One guy who was here cutting downed trees for firewood didn't believe me... I told him, more than once, you don't stick your hands under any log you can't see under... BZZZZZZZZZZT! He didn't get bit, but he did durn near have heart failure. I got another trophy.

Hey, has anyone tried that new snake repellant? it's got stuff like cedar oil, cinnamon, and soap in it. Smells quite dreadful. $14 for a little bag, that was enough to repel me.

Speaking of BZZZZZZZZZZZZT, time to set up the bug zapper in the living room, for the brown night wasps that come inside in hordes and crawl into your underwear and everywhere else! Now if only I could find a way to keep the stink beetles out... So far they've gone through two kinds of soap, two kinds of bug killer, horse spray, and WD-40 (which works great for keeping ants out), and my porch looks like a toxic waste dump.

That was funny, I don't care who you are. hahaha

I killed another one. Does anybody else see this problem???? I've killed 3 rattlesnakes in 2 days. I haven't killed 3 rattlesnakes in 10 years. Is this the new trend? I'm hoping it is. Let them California Yuppies come out with their shovels. They'll prolly call a bug exterminator.
