It snowed about an inch during the night. Just enough to make me feel guilty so I had to plow. Trouble is, it's -10. Damn plow started so I had no choice but to plow snow.

I put Timbers coat on her so she'd stay warm. I have to be careful because she's shedding hair. So I only put it on her when it's below zero.

Broke the plow. Winch cable snapped so I had to pull it in the shop and reterminate the cable. Course, I had to start a fire in the stove and then let it warm up. Reterminated and back to plowing. I got cold so right now I'm warming up. Will be able to finish in about 30 minutes. It's cold out there!

Is that like Naval Technology? Measure it with a micrometer, mark it with chaulk, then cut it off with an ax.

Wonderful morning today! Sun is shining bright, almost blinding. But it's -7 so I'm just going to have another cup of coffee and put on a movie. hahaha

Ain't much warmer here this morning. Global warming all over the ground down to about 2800 feet. Another 300 feet and I'd have got it too. Ain't seen a February like this one since the 1960s!

Winter is back. One thing that does bother me is that we haven't had cold lately. I'm talking the last few years. When I was on the crew with Decker Coal (we built it) we had to keep records and we recorded -58 on New Years Eve, 1972. We haven't seen really cold temps in a long time. This winter, we saw -21. We haven't seen a month long -30 for a high. Just a couple nights it got down low. Las night, it got down to -17, but it's 10am and we're already up to 1. hahaha Yeah, on the positive side.

Years ago (yeah I'm draggin up the past) I was stationed in San Diego. Ship was in Hunters Point San Francisco. So I was driving back and forth every weekend. Many times I encountered snow on the Grape Vine. I had a HP stop me one time and tell me the road was closed. Then he saw my drivers license (Wyoming) and he said, "Oh hell, go on through, your used to this crap".

Oh no, hope you get to feeling better. Man, you are missing a trip to remember. Too bad.

Boy it's quiet today. Rez, Mt-7, Rickers, hey, it's time to get up. hahaha

Beautiful day today in Spots. Sun is shining, blistering 13 degrees.

Left over pizza for lunch. I buy those Digorno Self Rising pizza's and then put jalapeno's and mexican cheese on top before I bake em. Turn out pretty good.
