When comparing the two cites while driving around and exploring it seems that KC has maybe more money per capital than St Louis, the homes, neighborhoods, cars people are driving, it just seems that KC has more money moving around in circulation and that could be one reason that KC might seem "nicer" than St Louis.

Not sure I agree with your physical observations (cars and such look about the same to me), but KC does have a higher gdp per capita than STL (53,677 to 48,738). St. Louis seems to have more mega rich, but also more poverty.

Yeah, I think StL has a bigger, more developed "monied class" culture. I have never felt like it had more poverty than KC, but maybe it does though and that's what the stats are reflecting, I could sure be wrong about that. I know KC's working class and poor areas look every bit as rough as StL's and it seems like they are just a big a part of the city (by which I mean the metro), but it always seemed like there was more "old money" culture in StL.

A long time. I wouldn't worry about it if I were you. The Plaza will be the Plaza for a loooooong time.
