That is impressive but I find it equally impressive Minneapolis reached 101 degrees today while Duluth reached only 54 degrees. Yesterday was similar with Minneapolis reaching 97 and Duluth 54.

Also, what is impressive is the weather forecast shows a quick cool down for Minnesota. Starting after tomorrow, from June 9th to June 11th highs will only be in the low to mid 60s and lows in the low 50s and upper 40s. So from 100s and 90s to 60s/50s/40s in just a few days.

It will go from t-shirt weather and shirtless weather to sweater weather within a few days.

Its the Lake Superior affect, although I've never been to Duluth, I hear its refreshing in the summer. The same thing happens in Chicago and Milwaukee, although not to such a great extent.

I will be more than happy when temps get back into the 70's tomorrow. And I will still be in shorts. It feels like death out there today!

This is why I hate Minnesota's climate -- you can experience all four seasons in a few days. I don't mind cold weather or four distinct seasons, I just don't like when I have to experience them all in one week. The calendar says June, why can't it just stay warm and sunny?

Also, as much as I like Duluth, I would never want to live there because of the weather. November-like temperatures in June just aren't my thing. If I want that, I'll just move to Alaska -- at least they have the midnight sun.

I feel like 90s can feel nice and enjoyable. How do you feel about the 90s?

But once it gets to the 100s it is a whole different level and starts feeling weird and parts of Minnesota did reach 102 degrees today. It seems like you are referring to the 100s instead of the 90s.

Tomorrow and for the next few days weather forecasts shows areas of Minnesota(such as where you live) will have highs in the 60s with lows in the mid to upper 40s. One day(June 10th) in the next few days shows the high might not even reach 60 degrees.

In just a few days it will go from 90s and 100s to 60s/50s/40s.

Personally, I would rather deal with 80s and 90s over 60s/50s/40s for this time of the year. But I guess I would pick 60s/50s over 100s.

I dislike Minnesota's weather climate for how cold, extreme, and long the winter lasts.

I even like snow and cold but just not the idea of winter for more than one month. I like the milder version of the 4 seasons climate such as New York City, Chicago, Tokyo, and Shanghai's weather climate. At the same time though I still like perpetual summer weather climates.

Some aspects of the seasonal variation, weather inconsistencies, and the ability to experience 4 seasons within a few days actually seems exciting and interesting to me. But then again, I already sort of can experience that where I live now. It just seems like Minnesota takes that even further.

Looks like you prefer Minnesota to be in the 80s and 90s for June instead of it getting into the 60s/50s/40s soon. Yeah. I feel like that too for where I live.

Where I am now in NYC I was complaining about it being in the 60s and 50s and cloudy a few days ago but am not complaining at all that highs will reach the mid to upper 90s the next 2 days. I am actually excited for the warm/hot temperatures. As long as it does not reach 100 and higher.
