It was 62F as a high here today. I actually saw a gartner snake by the swamp today. Must be one of those tundra gartners that hopefully the polar bears or moose will eat up.

lol, I know, so was I. Thank you for the awesome That's one of four gardens in the front yard, hoping to add another and a veggie garden this year if this BLASTED SNOW ever melts.

Yup, we got snow...and rain...then some more snow. They're yapping about several inches falling by monday. I've been hiding most of the day on my couch with a blanket and a book determined not to look outside.

No snakes here, BUT, almost had to perform a rescue mission for a muskrat ( we think that's what it was anyway...looked like a six pound sewer rat) last night. It got it's tail stuck between the boards on my deck and kept banging against the sliding glass door. Interesting sight at 2am. It finally got loose, something I am eternally grateful for, because it looked supremely pissed off and I wasn't looking forward to having to go within ten feet of the little guy to try to get him loose. I suppose I could have sent my pet polar bear after him, but didn't feel like cleaning up the mess

56F and sunny today. Rain is predicted for this weekend. Some meterologist are saying 60's and 70's next week. Geezz, will this winter ever end?!
I'm gonna till through the permafrost between the rain showers this weekend to get my garden started. Can't wait!

Do you use Weather.com?

I found this to be the case with Weather.com (The Weather Channel's Website) that they try to be too accurate... They will put up the symbol for 'RAIN' even though there is only a 20% of rain. And they'll put up all CLOUDS even if it's party cloudy. I mean, it could be a day where it sprinkles for about 10 mintues, and they symbol will be a furious dark gray rain cloud. And they change too much. Just last night (my bday day later this week) was 30% of rain, symbol of a rain cloud with rain and high of 53. Now it says high of 57 and only 10% rain and the symbol is now a full SUN.

I just use AcCuweather.com now.

Looks like summer is around the corner,
Paul Douglas is calling for a warm/humid weekend (70s and 80's possible) with a chance of strong to severe storms. Should be delightful ):
Spring was nice for the whole two weeks it lasted.

70s and 80s? Severe storms? I'm so happy I could do cartwheels!!! I could cry. This winter has been brutal and I miss summer so much.

So much for Minnesota being a tundra . . .
