Any advice will be appreciated.

I am not sure where about your relatives are around the metro areas but I would recommend Chanhassen. It's small enough to feel like a close-knit community yet has a lot to offer, and safe. There are nice furnished, senior apartments with near by restaurants, medical clinics within the community. Do your search in the areas of highway 5, Market Blvd, Great Plain Blvd, Lake Drive. There is a nice furnished apartment cater to senior right on Lake Dr. There is Cub Foods grocery, Byerlys, Target, Chanhassen Dinner Theater, Park Nicollet Clinic, just to name a few within 2 miles from that complex. You can't go wrong with this area so check it out.

Thanks HugeTon.

I was in that area about 30 years ago. Apparently, there has been a lot changes since then.

I totally agree. I loved my time in Chanhassen. My job took me away from there. I had a one level townhome off of Market/101 S. I was the youngest one in the neighborhood. And I was in my early forties. The small downtown had everything I needed.

Thanks to all who provided me with some useful information.
Hopefully, we will be able to sell our Waikiki Condo soon.
