Agree. However, he accelerated it considerably beyond any predecessors and it is now nearly out of control. His hatred and disrespect for our belief in a free press is troubling, too.

Yes. Our real problem in this country is the poor treatment of white men. As a white man im glad someone finally pointed out the true issue of race in America.

Put aside the "rock star" B.S. and learn the basics, then help get things done. She looked shaky in a TV interview. However, I don't criticize her for her religion. That is her choice and is guaranteed by the First Amendment.

I don't have the facts about the "non citizen" (and their circumstances) that she brought to the SOTU last night, so have no opinion on that for now.

For the OP: as has been previously stated, the 5th district is the most liberal district in Minnesota.

I couldn't care less about her religion or lack thereof, but this woman has ZERO credentials to be in Congress based on her paper thin resume. Identity politics, however, require us to bow down to the great and powerful Omar.

That is free speech, not vilification. No one grants us an echo chamber. IMO you are playing the victim card.

Btw, speaking of provocateurs, President Trump and some of his most vocal loyalists have easily exceeded the most outspoken Democrats in that regard. Just on Twitter alone for that matter! Lol.

Here is real vilification...

Donald Trump insisted that the Central Park 5 in NYC face the death penalty even after they were found innocent.

A woman of color being imprisoned for 15+ years merely for possession of marijuana. Here is where I give Trump some credit, so to those so inclined please spare me any TDS accusations. He pardoned her and deserves praise for doing so. However, the criminal justice system in her state had certainly vilified and criminalized her beyond what was reasonable.

Many children have been separated from their parents at the border and many are still seeking to be reunited.

Trump kept insisting Barack Obama was born in Kenya long after it was proven otherwise. Have you ever been falsely accused of being born somewhere else? Yet, he remained classy.

Here is an example of someone that should have been vilified and criminalized, but was not: Congressman Greg Gianforte of Montana who assaulted a reporter. Not only did he get a slap on the wrist, he refused to drop out of the race and got re-elected. Then at a Montana rally, Trump enthusiastically praised him for his violent act. Unfortunately, the reporter was vilified instead. I can understand why some would call that white male privilege. You not only get rewarded with a Congressional seat after your violent assault, you get praised by the President at a rally for doing so! Can't make this stuff up...something we would expect in a dictatorship, not in the USA.

I could easily make a longer list of real victims and villains.

Have you or anyone you know experienced anything similar to the list above?

Perhaps what you meant to say was that some people in the Democratic Party offend you with some of their viewpoints. I would have probably let that go. That is your right to believe that, but merely having to deal with other views is not the same as vilification and criminalization. Food for thought.
Ugh! Thank you! I could not have said it better myself!

Even after the truth of the issue involving the Covington Catholic students became known as a false narrative propagated by the leftist media, here is what Ilhan Omar tweeted:

The boys were protesting a woman's right to choose & yelled "it's not rape if you enjoy it" - They were taunting 5 Black men before they surrounded Phillips and led racist chants - Sandmann's family hired a right wing PR firm to write his non-apology.

She tweeted this AFTER the leftist narrative was found to be false.
The Black men were chanting hateful speech at the students who were standing in a group waiting for their bus. Wider video coverage shows that clearly.
The native American, Phillips, walked up into the group of students. The boy that simply stood there smiling was surrounded by other students so he was not blocking Phillips who had a clear path elsewhere.
Phillips came up to the boy and starting pounding the drum in the boy's face. Clearly seen in the video.
And then Phillip went on national TV and lied about what happened.
And on and on, ad nauseum.

And yet, after the truth came out and the fact that the left's narrative was false became widely known, Ms. Omar continued to lie about it.

Good job, 5th District, you elected either an outright liar or an idiot to the U.S. House!

Obama carries the bulk of the blame for accelerating the racial divide in this country.

In polling more than 90% of the media have identified as liberal in their political persuasion. There is a definite media bias in this country and that is why the media in increasingly trusted less. The big outfits: CNN, MSNBC, WaPo, and etc., do not report the news as much as attempt to transform public opinion. Witness the complete f-UP regarding the story surrounding the Covington Catholic students and the Native American drummer in Washington DC. There is plenty of evidence for media bias.

Saying that Trump hates and disrespects the media is disingenuous; it is only the lying leftist media that he turns the mirror back onto. The left began rioting the night of the election and have not let up. He has NEVER been given the space to govern that all presidents have had. Typically, the opposition allows up to 3 months (the proverbial 100 days) for a new administration to get its footing before attacking. But not Trump; the left was so violently upset by the election results that common and good sense went out the window; and they had little of that to begin with.

Do you think Omar hates Jews?

Do you agree with AOC's Green New Deal, like Omar?

The way the people have been divided by our leadership for their own political purposes, and the way the executive branch has threatened and investigated the press is deplorable.
