While at the Mall of America yesterday I noticed some very nice
upscale looking restaurants like "Napa Valley Grill".

They looked like very nice places to take a date as they have
fireplaces and nice table linen. Has anyone eaten at a few of
the upscale restaurants in the Mall and can comment on the
quality of the food?

One place (I forget the name) had $30 steaks so I am thinking
they have to be pretty good..??

Thanks,
Tom

We've eaten at Napa Valley Grille, Tucci Benucch and Twin Cities Grill. All three are excellent. If I had to rate them for their overall dining experience (food quality, service and ambience) it'd probably go 1. Napa Valley, 2. Twin Cities Grill and 3. Tucci Benucch. I haven't tried Crave yet but that restaurant would probably be in the same league as these other three.

Napa Valley in particular looked very romantic to take a date with the
fireplace and all. When I meet someone to ask out, I will probably take
her to Napa Valley since its easy to get to and I don't know the area all
that well yet.

What are the best entrees to order at Napa??

You'd have to talk to somebody who eats their more often. We ate there once in 2008 and the menu looks like it has changed quite a bit since then.

I like Crave also. Although they recently removed my favorite item from the menu. Steak Pizza.

On our recent visit we liked Napa Valley Grill. Ate there twice.

We did not like Crave - the sushi tasted like grocery store stuff, and the entrees were boring.

Napa - we really liked it! I had some trio entree and my husband had a steak, I believe.
