Any info on this soccer club? If you were to live in the Delafield area, would it be too far to play for them? What about LCU soccer?

Default great soccer club to try out for

My sons have played for FC Milwaukee for the last 3 years. My older son has taken the state cup title for 2 years and will most likely take it again this year in his age bracket. My younger son who is not as good a player also does well. The teams are well-coached by professional coaches. The families are great to get to know. People from all over the state play for FC Milwaukee. I think you will do well to have your son or daughter try out. Check the FC Milwaukee website to see when tryout are. We have not had a bad experience with this club, although we did have some bad experiences with other clubs in our area. It is not cheap and the traveling with the A teams can be extensive, but well worth it. Good luck!

Thanks for the info. We have lived in 2 differnet states & have played on clubs that have made it all the way to state finals, so I know all about the travel, expenses, etc. One thing I have found is it seems to be better for my girls when they are on teams w/some kids they either go to school with and/or live near us for carpooling and for social reasons, especially when your new in town. Where does FC Milwaukee practice? If we were to live in Delafield would it be pretty far to get to practice? What clubs didn't you like & why? I understand that some clubs have good teams & coaches and some not, it may be dependent on the team or coach itself, not necessarily the club as a whole. Thanks for your honesty
