It varies by county. Otsego county is terrible with radar. Warren is also pretty bad.

I'm bringing my radar detector with me, but my rental is a Ford Focus, so it'll take quite a while to get up to any good speed...

Sure If you were going 120mph during the day, someone would've called the state police and you would've been nailed, end of story.

I'd like to see him take that curve by 9 Mile on 75 at 120. Probably have to replace the bridge a third time.

I have never heard anyone pronounce Detroit that way. I have heard numerous people pronounce it with a lot of emphasis on the D or E.

My relatives from Detroit call it Ditroit. I think Duhtroit is wrong, never heard them say that.

I have never said that is not the way the locals pronounce Gaylord. I have said that it is childish to spell it that way as a 3rd grade type of dig at the city.

Never said I went to school in Gaylord, I lived and worked in Gaylord.

They also spell Traverse City "Trav Cy" in the phone book, what has that got to do with anything?

...No, people go 80-90-100 quite often in the lower part of the state.
