...can't think of anything to say about this

"Just after midnight three people armed with assault rifles and handguns pulled up to the El Mula Banquet Hall in Northwest Miami-Dade in a white SUV and began shooting. "

"Two people have died and up to another 25 left injured after gunmen fired indiscriminately into a crowd gathered for a concert in south Florida in the early hours of this morning. "

"Police said that two concert-goers died at the scene and as many as 25 people went to various hospitals for treatment with some traveling in their own vehicles. At least one is in critical condition."

More local take on the shooting.

It will be interesting to see if the neighborhood can help identify and convict the perpetrators.

I guess Miami didn’t want to feel left out from the rest of the country....surprised you did not include the Wynwood incident from the night before.

Any correlation to gun sales being at an all time high?...if more people have them will there be more or less gun incidents? Not quite sure the correlation is equivalent to more police street presence equals less crime/greater crime deterrent.

States like Vermont that have amongst the highest per capita gun ownership rate, also have among the lowest gun violence rate. So I would say there is no correlation.

Less density probably is a factor in their numbers I would think....and/or would you feel more comfortable if everyone in Miami had a gun, including those in lower income neighborhoods? Wondering what the reaction would be if Lebron or Robert Smith offered to buy a gun for everyone of color (ok, gun sales would soar even further).

The incident happened at approximately 11:53 p.m. Friday in the area of NW 1st Court and 20th Street."
