I am not surprised that 5 weeks have gone by and no word of progress in investigating this crime. This was no random drive-by....it was carefully planned weeks in advance and has the fingerprints of the Haitian gang Zoe Pound all over it.
Most likely you have never heard of them because the local media does not want to report on local gangs and their involvement with the drug cartels in Miami.

Or maybe it was overshadowed by the massive catastrophe that occurred in Surfside? Why would the local media not want to report about a criminal gang being involved in the shooting? That was literally all they were talking about when it happened. Your post makes little sense.

Read my post again. I didn't say the media didn't report the shooting. I said they rarely mention or name the local gangs.

You assume the media knows the perpetrators of the shooting and they're just withholding that information? You can't be serious. They can't just start blaming random local gangs without evidence.

Even if they knew who was involved (which they don't), who's to say the police don't want that information being made public during an active investigation?

There you go again twisting my words. I never said the media should name a specific gang for this shooting. What I said is the local media will virtually never name a local gang despite their proliferation in Miami. Most residents have no ideas what gangs are in Miami.

You literally claimed Zoe Pound was responsible (without evidence) and that the media doesn't want to report about them or other local gangs in Miami.

The media has reported about Zoe Pound in the past, quite a bit in fact. That's how I know about them.

Just because you assume a specific gang is responsible doesn't mean the media should immediately lay blame on them. They need to wait until law enforcement determines who is actually responsible before reporting on it.
