In Weston they have nice paths throughout the city to jog at night, as well as a lighted park with a track until 11 pm. I haven't been able to find somewhere like that in Miami to be able to go jogging. I looked up Tropical Park, Bermudez Park in Doral, and they close at sunset...

Any other ideas in the Doral/FIU/Kendall area? I've been driving to Key Biscayne and jogging over there, but that's too far. And the Boardwalk at Hollywood Beach is awesome, but again "too far".

thanks

Hammocks?? I don't think it closes as it's always illuminated with powerful white lights.

Brickell Key is a short run, but very nice at night. You could park somewhere (depending on how far you run) and incorporate it into your trip.

I usually run around the Key, then on south along US 1 and back taking Brickell Bay and Bayshore.

I wonder how you can conceal your piece in jogging shorts?

How about that track that goes around the lake in front of Baptist Hospital, or you can jog in Miami Springs, plenty of bike/jogging paths there, and it's safe.

If you jog at any residential area near FIU or Doral at night, they will call the cops on you. That area has not a lot of crime, but there are many paranoid old ladies. FIU Campus, but sometimes Campus Police does not like joggers at night. I wouldn't jog at any park at the wee hours of the night.

On the sidewalk? That's not a particularly dangerous area. You should be fine.
