Lot of wild stuff happens on Rt 1. I would not say that the shoppers of the plaza represents Westwood any more than the shoppers at the Wegman’s plaza does or that shoppers at Legacy Place represents Dedham.

Count me in too. Incoherent keyboard mashing usually evokes the same reaction in my mind.

Just like the SSP does not represent all of Braintree.

Boomers own 3x as much real estate as millennials.

not surprising. They typically have more money and real estate was much cheaper when they purchased it.

It’s becoming increasingly difficult to believe you are asking these questions in good faith.

Rt1 in Westwood is roughly equivalent to 95 in Wellesley. It doesn’t connect the town, it cuts through a small portion of it. Most drivers on that road are from elsewhere. There are no neighborhoods in Westwood where you’d take that stretch of road to go anywhere except the specific stores off of that road.

I looked at houses in Dedham.

And Dedham isn’t posh, it has posh areas. The schools are middling, so the people in those neighborhoods tend to send their kids to any of the very good private schools nearby. It’s a long-standing trend in the town.

I find the interactions that newenglandgal has on the road to be pretty funny. They remind me of the interactions I used to have on the train.

Well, I share my experiences b/c I'm genuinely curious if others who live in or frequent these towns see the same types of things happening to themselves or others. I know there are crazies everywhere but perhaps it's possible the crazies are more highly concentrated in some towns/areas vs others....just maybe!
