I lived in Dartmouth Woods in Dartmouth for a while. There was a small Indian community - most of whom worked at UMass Dartmouth. I was hesitant to mention it at first for a few reasons 1) Dartmouth Woods is overpriced for the area (within the OPs budget, but not worth what the rents are) and not very well managed. It's fine though as a place to live for a year or two to get a feel for the area. 2) Dartmouth schools aren't bad, but they're not on par with the top school districts mentioned here (like Old Rochester in Marion/Mattapoisett/Rochester). and 3) The Indian community is small enough so that it's not particularly remarkable, but I can't think of one closer to Lakeville which is about a 20-25 minute commute from Dartmouth Woods.

Are we talking about Indians from India or Native Americans. It seems Massachusetts has a larger Native American on the South Shore. India Indians in Metro West.
