I took these pictures from my kitchen yesterday around 4:20 and within a couple of minutes the skies turned to this

Beautiful and eerie all in a matter of minutes all in the same spot....

Ominous and beautiful photos. And now these news about the Artic makes it even more worrying.

I've been reading that it's been a warm Fall. What will happen to Winter now?

Beautiful pictures.

They must be from the Halloween storm. Note that most of the leaves are still on the trees (many of them still green because of the late foliage season this year).

It's either Mt. Tom or Mt. Holyoke (prob the 2nd one). The first photo is from the top of Mt. Holyoke. It's more of a ridge than individual peak. Greylock is almost 3x taller. It's from the Halloween storm, that was the last snow we got. The storm on the 8th was all rain.
