I'd say they're both pretty much the same. Predominately white, blue collar, middleclass. Peabody however borders some nicer communities than Saugus.

Expanding your list, Stoneham is the nicest town of them all. It is right next to the Middlesex Fells Reservation and has the Stone Zoo, so there are a lot of family activities.

There are plenty of nice communities in the North of Boston area. What led you to ask about Saugus and Peabody?

Saugus and Peabody are the two towns I am most curious about. I have heard so many mixed reviews about both towns. Some people that i have asked that live in these towns love it and others just want to get out.

Which town is more diverse? Also which has more rental units, such as apartments and condos?
Thanks!

Peabody has almost 2X the population of Saugus, so I suspect it is more diverse and has more rental units.
