Would you take the "T" or drive yourself? I'm not all that pumped to use public transport but whoa..... driving around Boston sounds intense from what I've heard.... How's the crime @ the mall anyway--- I think its Square One? I lived in Syracuse, (cny) for a bit and it was cool to commute but the stories I've heard about Boston/MA drivers are sketchy. Any input helps. Thank you!

Most people who live in Beverly would go to the North Shore Mall in Peabody not to Saugus. I refer to Square One as the "thug mall". You can draw your own conclusions.

Thug Mall? You must be living in Utopia. The people who go to The Square One Mall also go to the North Shore Mall. The North Shore Mall is larger and has more stores and has more upscale stores.

To answer your question. You will need to change 4 buses to get to the Square One Mall, 451->455->426->429. It will take you close to two hours. The best is to drive. Take 128 S via Rte 1 S, on your way there is the Liberty Tree Mall, the North Shore Mall, and the Square One Mall. Choose one to your liking. If you can come down via I95 (Maple Street or Center Street on ramp), it is much easier because there is less cars on that stretch of I95. Merge onto Rte 1S is much easier, too.

Default It would be a work related commute....

The only reason I would be going to Square One is due to a job I may be transferred to. They actually don't have a store closer to Beverly. Thank you!
