Remember when there was one before the roundabout in Towson? Sold gas also.

Now they want to build one on York Road, and people are fighting it. Really dumb, but since they have screwed up York Road Royally (Pardon the pun) over the years why not continue?

I am trying to remember when the built the one on Timonium Road. Late 80's.

That is exactly what we said to each other!

I wish there was a Royal Farm and WaWa in Germantown. Its the 3rd most populous area in Maryland! Instead there are multiple 7-11s. RF fried chicken is very good! Sick of Popeye's dried up tiny chicken.

Being from Philly, I'm a Wawa person, 100%.
Royal Farms would take second place. But not for the chicken, which I've been told is too salty. (which is a matter of opinion, of course.)

I've been to one Sheetz (in south central VA) and was totally not impressed. Maybe it was a small one. I've only been to one so I don't know. From my experience the store I went to can't hold a candle to a Wawa.

7-11 isn't even in the running.

I read an article years ago about how Sheetz was expanding east in Wawa territory......Wawa was expanding south, and Royal Farms was expanding -- and could be up against Sheetz or Wawa.

Agreed - has anyone noticed the terrible smell that every 7-11 has? I swear the place reeks of burnt hotdogs and crappy processed food.
