Heed thy own words wise one! Agreeing with the liberals does not make YOU right! We're all just miserable, hateful SOB's because we're tired of being robbed! Don't worry, I'm sure there's plenty of usless recipe swapping and love to go around the Maine forum for it to handle a touch of reality now and then.

No rancor at all and you shouldn't label it as such. Just opined in the same way you had. What's wrong with that? Other than you disagree with me...

all well and good then. As to health care.............. my DH had a heart attack in Maine. We have medicare as well as carrying our own insurance here in Maine. After all is said and done we still have thousands of dollars in medical bills we are paying out of pocket. National health care sounds pretty damned good to me right now.

and you know I have no bad feelings towards any of you.

I don't have any bad feelings towards anyone here, either...I just feel that I am fortunate in my life to have health care and I wouldn't want to deny it for others who may be less fortunate...I don't think that's a bad thing really....if other people do, then they do, but there is really no need to be so vitriolic about it.....I'm allowed to give my opinion as well...

I'm not directing this towards you, msina, either....I know we're on the same page on this!

Opine on the subject all you like, just not my way of expression if you please. I'm not being vitriolic, I'm an expressive, emotive person. I speak my mind and I do it with great humor 99.99999% of the time. I'm actually almost always smiling and I'm extremely good natured. I can't help it if you don't read the intent or tone of my demeanor correctly. I find your comment of not having bad feelings towards anyone disengenuous. I can't see any other reason for singling us out. Just please stop. Enough already.

I agree with catastrophic health care being subsidized by the government to a point. That type of coverage would have helped you and your husband msina.
I say we go after the endowments of the colleges who hide billions in land holdings and investments. Let the liberal elite pay for something for a change.

Everyone was warned back in the '60's that the entire Medicare debacle being perpetrated on the American public by Townsend and the other Commie sympathizers in the U.S. Congress was going to be a bad deal in the end and lead to this disaster.

Get the Gubermint the heck out of the friggin' system all together and the price fixing will end. Now they want to get rid of the HSA's and prevent us from choosing our own insurance plan.

The entire foundation of this Country is at steak and is being undermined by those socialists in Congress who have basically embrace Maine's Dirigo Manifesto for their plan. If you think health care is expensive now, wait until it is "free".

It is not the job of Government to feed, house, treat or otherwise take care of anyone. That is what Charities are for. We are sick and tired of having our pockets picked by the Maine Dems and the Feds. The Wagon Pullers are getting exhausted, carrying half the population of Maine in the Wagon!
