When you look at the tracks closely look to see if the feet are cloven (moose) or round (horse) at the toes. It's the easiest way to tell.

Yes but we did not even come close to SEEING the critter, the tracks were unclear and only the sign is left to tell what kind of tail is to be told...

You know you live in Old Town, Maine when you move back from Florida and the school staff at Old Town Elementary already knows your kids are coming back (before you even tell them)

You know you are back in Maine when a nice waitress at Governor's tells you that she missed seeing you and the boys, and asks if you have been away.
